Public / Intimacy is a photographic project exploring traces of intimacy in a public space. For a year I photographed different life marks; from stretch marks, to hair loss to scars of accidents. I placed the laminated pictures on site specific locations on the streets trying to find continuity from the scar to the location where it was placed. The project was finalised with a public opening and a map showcasing the locations.
Public / Intimacy was part of my studies in 'Art in Public Space' MA Program in Porto in 2012-2014 and my final thesis to Aalto University, Visual Culture MA program, in Finland in 2014.
